The world’s most notorious fugitive and Donald Trump hater, Joaquín Guzmán, better known as El Chapo, wasn’t around to teach his son a very valuable lesson: If you’re gonna brag about your outlaw father on Twitter, turn off the geotagging function. Jesus Alfredo Guzmán Salazar, 29, recently tweeted a photo of himself between two men, one of whom looks a lot like his dad, to taunt the authorities. He captured the image, “August here, you already know with whom.”
Where is “here?” Costa Rica, apparently, based on the location tagging.
The tweet has been enough to lead Costa Rica’s Judicial Investigative Police to announce they are now looking into the possibility that El Chapo is hiding in the country but added that the post is the first evidence they have received to suggest that this could be the case. (Via)
The photo doesn’t reveal much, other than they’re outside at a cafe where Coca-Cola is served (which trims the search down to 9 million). But if you know where it was taken, or can lead the police to El Chapo, there’s an $8 million reward waiting for you. Use it to take a class on Twitter.
