“Is anyone here a marine biologist?”
If you read that line in Larry David’s voice, congratulations: you’re also a Seinfeld fanatic. The co-creator had a habit of popping up in the series as a variety of characters, and since then, we just can’t get enough of his cameos. In the nine season run of Seinfeld, David appeared (usually as just his voice) as a caped lawyer, an airplane traveler who forgot his Kosher meal, Saddam Hussein, and George Steinbrenner himself (the man who can’t be flopping and twitching). After all, it does make sense for the guy who gave a lot of Seinfeld its voice to always have his voice heard.
After the much-deserved recognition from Seinfeld, Larry David just couldn’t help but keep popping up. The love of David led to his own HBO show Curb Your Enthusiasm, where he continued questioning everything and pissing people off. More recently, David has played a perfect Bernie Sanders in Saturday Night Live, breaking stories about Sanders’ underwear collection and heckling the Trump. It actually makes Sanders seem a lot more sane by contrast. In what must have been a favor for his daughters, David also made an appearance in Hannah Montana, essentially creating another Curb scene with Miley Cyrus.
Although we can only sit and wait for the alleged Curb movie, or at least another season, it’s clear that David will continue to make cameos and brighten our days. Can Larry David top himself?
