Seven Baltimore police officers were injured and one was unresponsive in a violent clash with protesters Monday afternoon. The protests followed the funeral of Freddie Gray, who was killed in police custody earlier this month. WBAL captured this video showing hundreds of people destroying a Baltimore police cruiser. Towards the end of the clip, officers swarmed the scene to arrest those responsible. It’s insane.
Baltimore police are updating the situation on their Twitter account.
The group continues to be violent and aggressive. They are disobeying dispersal orders. We are working to evacuate our injured officers.

Several people in the group are reported to be armed with sticks, bricks, and other weapons.

A Maryland State Police cruiser was also set on fire as police now aggressively take on protesters.
