Taking selfies can be a dangerous game, people. Brandi Burgess — a Flora, Mississippi woman — was vacationing with her daughter at Yellowstone National Park on Tuesday when she decided to pose for a picture in front of a burly looking Bison.
After ignoring the signs which warned to stay at least 25 yards away from the animals, Burgess got the selfie she wanted, but as you can probably imagine- things didn’t end well:
“It was the most frightening experience I have been through in my life to date,” she told ABC News in an exclusive interview.
After being flipped and tossed into the air like a rag doll, Burgess escaped the incident with minor injuries and a newfound respect for wildlife. Julena Campbell, a Yellowstone spokesperson appropriately addressed the situation by saying, “We have a little saying here: ‘Give them room, use your zoom.”
