On Monday, a tornado touched down in downtown Portland, Mich., causing significant damage to several buildings. Thankfully no one was seriously injured, but video of the twister taking out a rather large tree at one of the town’s main intersections was released on Wednesday.
Check out that tree on the right. It’s there for most of the video, though it starts to get a little bendy around the 1:20 mark. Just a few second after that, it’s gone. Not oh-it’s-just-on-the-ground-now gone, but I-think-it’s-in-another-county gone.
Meanwhile, people are driving around like it’s a normal day at the office. That’s some heavy balls and/or ovaries of steel. Mainly, I suspect, because they’re weighed down so well.
