UFC 189 isn’t until Saturday, but “The Notorious” Conor McGregor looks ready to fight now. At the weigh-ins, McGregor and his opponent for the interim featherweight title, Chad “Money” Mendes, got into each other’s faces and had to be separated by Dana White. McGregor flicked his knee up, referencing Chad’s knockout loss to injured champ Jose Aldo.
However, before the weigh-ins went down, Conor almost got into a scrap with another member of Team Alpha Male. In some backstage weirdness, McGregor tousled Urijah Faber’s hair, then Faber appeared to tickle Conor’s soft middle parts. McGregor then looked for a takedown, but Faber stopped it and then pushed Conor against the wall. The fighters were quickly separated, and Conor ducked into a bathroom, while Faber laughed everything off.
Conor McGregor and Chad Mendes will fight for real Saturday night on UFC 189, only on pay-per-view.
