When the most recent trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice debuted, some complained that it contained spoilers. Rumor has it there’s definitely more to the film than what was revealed, and now director Zack Snyder is also voicing his own distaste for spoilers.
In an interview with MTV, Snyder says the newest trailer didn’t spoil anything. “There’s a lot of movie that’s not in the trailer,” he said, adding that he hates when spoilers come out. “You design the movie as a story that evolves as you watch it, so moment-to-moment [you’re thinking], ‘Oh my god, what’s going to happen next? Are they gonna live? Are they gonna die?'”
We’re going to go out on a real rickety limb here and definitively state neither Batman nor Superman are going to die in Batman v Superman. Just a hunch.
Another character not likely to die in Batman v Superman is Wonder Woman, not least because Snyder loved Gal Gadot’s performance, telling MTV she was an amazing Wonder Woman, a superhero who is “long overdue.” He explained how they approached the first big screen portrayal of Diana of Themyscira:
“We kind of tried to just listen to Wonder Woman… to preserve her mystery but understand her as much as we can, in the way that we see her in the movie. You’ve got to listen to Wonder Woman because what Wonder Woman wants, Wonder Woman gets, that’s just how it is.”
It may be the same way for the actress playing her, a former soldier for the Israel Defense Forces who just laughs at haters.
