Donald Trump’s long road to the New York primary didn’t have to be a rough one. He holds long-standing, golden roots in the state, and last fall, the real-estate mogul made a somewhat elegant statement about “New York values.” He will almost certainly win Tuesday evening’s election (since Cruz kinda destroyed his chances at a substantial delegate take there), but there’s a question of how large the victory shall be.
Well, Trump may have lost a few votes after referring to the 9/11 tragedy as “7-11.” This practically negates the $100,000 donation he recently made to the memorial museum, which could have counteracted the unsavory statements he’s made about the terrorist attack in the past. Now Salma Hayek has arrived with her reaction to the 7-11 kerfuffle, and boom:
I am a dyslexic Mexican and English is my second language, however even I do not confuse 7/11 with 9/11. #DonaldTrump

Hayek points out how dyslexia and speaking English as a second language still wouldn’t result in mixing up 9/11 for 7-11, which is a fairly effective takedown, especially since Trump’s so hellbent on building his Mexican border wall. This isn’t the first time Hayek’s taken Trump to task. In March, she told Jimmy Kimmel that she’s met Trump but doesn’t regularly associate with the candidate. Hayek also says no one can talk Trump out of his “madness,” so there’s no use trying to do so.
