Lamborghini’s New $2.3 Million Roadster Sold Out Before It Even Debuted

This is the Lamborghini Centenario Roadster: it’s very expensive, extremely rare, and already completely sold out. It’s cool though — we have no shot at Charlotte McKinney, but that doesn’t stop us from obsessing over her. Wait. If we get a Lamborghini Centenario Roaster, would we have a shot at Charlotte McKinney? Way to rub salt in our wounds, Lamborghini.

Lamborghini is celebrating their 100th anniversary this year, so you just knew they were bound to drop some limited-edition horsepower-porn on the car industry at some point. What’s surprising here, though, is that we thought that already happened when they released their $1.9-million Centenario Coupe earlier this year. Turns out they were just getting this birthday party started.

To say the $2.3 million V12 770 horsepower Roadster version of the Centenario is limited would be an all-time understatement; there were only 20 of them made, and they are all already spoken for. The newest edition is the first Lambo to offer Apple CarPlay technology all on a 10.1-inch screen and features dual interior cameras that are fully capable of taking and sharing selfies for you. Now for the good stuff. The Roadster is capable of taking your ass from checking your Twitter timeline at a red light, to 62 miles per hour, in a ridiculous 2.8 seconds, with a top speed of 217 mph. That seems unnecessary, totally terrifying, and extremely awesome.
