Chris Christie has never been one to mince words, which is only growing more evident as more details emerge from the New Jersey Bridgegate scandal. Observer Politicker NJ reveals how Christie allegedly told Monmouth County Freeholder John Curley that he would “f*cking destroy” him during a tangential argument. So yeah, he’s got a bit of a temper.
The revelations come from Christopher Stark, who was the former regional director for Christie’s Office of Intergovernmental Affairs. Stark testified during the Bridgegate trial that Curley was a bit frustrated Christie took credit for all the hard work that went into organizing Hurricane Sandy recovery efforts. Curly admits calling the governor a “fat f*ck.” Curley may have fired the first shot, but Christie was ready with one in the chamber. Stark claims that Christie responded by shouting, “Who the f*ck do you think you are, calling me a fat f*ck? I’m the f*cking governor of this state.”
If there is one thing you should be aware of, it’s not to cross Chris Christie. The Asbury Park Press reported Curley later apologized to Christie, but the two have had little contact since then. But lost in the story is that Curley was apparently misquoted and did not call Christie a “fat f*ck” but something pretty close to that.
Did county politician in #Jersey really call Christie a "fat fuck"?
