Trolls gonna troll, as they say in my cul-de-sac. And I may be imagining things but it seems like the Obamas have been heckled and shouted at more than any other Presidential family since the Clevelands (spoiler: I have no clue if Grover Cleveland got heckled, but he probably did).
The First Lady has had enough and finally let the Chitown funk come out of her system and fired back. Give me a fully dressed Huff Po’ boy please:
About 12 minutes into Obama’s 20-minute speech, a woman standing at the front of the crowd began yelling for an executive order on lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender rights.
“One of the things that I don’t do well is this,” replied Obama to loud applause. She left the lectern and approached the protester, inviting the woman to “listen to me, or you can take the mic, but I’m leaving. You all decide. You have one choice.”
The crowd shouted that they wanted Obama to stay, and one woman near the protester said, “You need to go!”
The protester was then escorted out, saying she wanted “federal equality before I die.”
Good for Michelle Obama, because these idiots who have been yelling at these press conferences make me want to oppose their causes out of spite. Michelle isn’t one to play with. You could learn something, Barack. Because this reaction isn’t going to cut it.
I mean, look at that! Say it with your chest, Barry!
