Fast National ratings for Monday, November 10, 2014.
NBC got a small bump for the midseason and time period finale for “Blacklist,” as the network ruled Monday among young viewers. ABC remained dominant overall, though, paced by “Dancing with the Stars” and “Castle.”
Other Monday variations were just the usual hiccups and fluctuations, with “Gotham” and “Scorpion” both dipping a little and The CW's “The Originals” and “Jane the Virgin” rising. It was, in fact, the most watched “Originals” episode of the season.
On to the numbers…
Among adults 18-49, NBC averaged a 3.0 rating for Monday primetime, tops in the key demographic. ABC and FOX both averaged a 1.9 key demo rating, followed closely by the 1.7 key demo rating for CBS. The CW averaged a 0.6 key demo rating for the night.
Overall, though, ABC averaged an estimated 12.14 million viewers and a 7.8 rating/12 share for Monday night, comfortably beating NBC' 10.81 million viewers and 6.6/10. CBS was third with 8.43 million viewers and a 5.3/8, followed at a distance by FOX's 5.45 million viewers and 3.3/5. The CW averaged 1.38 million viewers and a 0.9/1 for the night.
8 p.m. – “Dancing with the Stars” won the 8 p.m. hour overall for ABC with 13.09 million viewers and finished third with a 1.9 rating among adults 18-49. NBC's “The Voice” was second with 11.56 million viewers and won the hour with a 3.2 key demo rating. CBS was third overall and fourth in the key demo with “2 Broke Girls” (7.64 million and a 1.9 key demo) and “The Millers” (6.52 million and a 1.5 key demo rating). On FOX, “Gotham” averaged 6.3 million viewers for fourth, but a 2.2 key demo rating for second on the hour. The CW's “The Originals” averaged 1.54 million viewers and did a 0.7 key demo rating.
9 p.m. – ABC's “Dancing with the Stars” remained in first overall with 13.67 million viewers and moved up to second with a 2.2 rating among adults 18-49. NBC's “The Voice” averaged 11.17 million viewers for second and did a 3.2 key demo rating to win the hour. “Scorpion” slipped a little to 10.04 million viewers and a 2.0 key demo rating for CBS, while “Sleepy Hollow” rose a hair to 4.6 million viewers and was flat with a 1.5 key demo rating for FOX. The CW's “Jane the Virgin” averaged 1.22 million viewers and a 0.5 key demo rating.
10 p.m. – “Blacklist” won the 10 p.m. hour for NBC with 9.69 million viewers and a 2.5 rating among adults 18-49 in its last airing till February. ABC's “Castle” was a close second with 9.65 million viewers and also finished second with a 1.7 key demo rating. CBS' “NCIS: Los Angeles” averaged 8.17 million viewers and a 1.5 key demo rating in third.
