WARNING: There's a major Batman v. Superman spoiler below. Proceed with caution.
Superman lives.
During Warner Bros.' presentation at CinemaCon in Las Vegas today, Justice League director Zack Snyder and the entire cast of the forthcoming superhero mashup (save Ben Affleck) greeted the audience from the film's set. Included in that lineup of stars was Henry Cavill — thereby confirming that Superman, who seemingly bit the dust at the end of Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, will be appearing in the new film.
Here's the tweet from EW's Darren Franich:
Cast of “Justice League” just said hello from the set. Henry Cavill is there. So, yeah, Superman is in “Justice League.” Probably not dead.

Additionally, Comicbook.com's summary of the panel also mentions the Cavill reveal.
Also during the presentation, Affleck was also confirmed to be directing a solo Batman movie for the studio.
