You’d think that by now, this late in the social media game, the folks at Facebook would have cut us cynical bastards a line and given us a “dislike” button so we can let our friends know what we think about what they had with dinner without actually having to type letters and words. Yet here we are, about to welcome in 2014, and we still don’t have a dislike button on Facebook, despite the fact that so many people hate everyone and everything and would love nothing more than to show it with a thumb pointed downward.
But it seems that Facebook has loosened its grip on the shiny, happy illusion and has now created a dislike “sticker” for use in the Facebook messenger app. I’m sure you’re thinking, “Great, when am I ever even going to use that?” while trying to convince your ex to unblock you, but you have to view this as a positive. All you need to do is to click on the smiley face in messenger to pull up the sticker store and you can dislike the things that people message you to your heart’s content.
If you’re still not satisfied, though, and you need a way to tell people that you really dislike what they’re sharing or the opinions of their dumb status updates, then I made this for you to use whenever the situation calls for it…
Just don’t use it if someone shares this post, okay?
