After a lengthy shoot, tons of on-set photos and some last-minute casting alternations, “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” has wrapped production.
To celebrate, director Marc Webb Tweeted a brief video entitled “100 Days of Spidey,” a fiendishly clever take on his hit film debut, “(500) Days of Summer.” The video shows star Andrew Garfield as the Marvel webslinger (sans costume) perched on the ledge of a skyscraper, high above the city. Careful up there, Andrew. You’re not really Spider-Man.
The video was followed by a second tweet that read simply, “That’s a Wrap. Thanks!”

“Spider-Man” also stars Emma Stone Felicity Jones and Sally Field, plus a number of villains (or future villains), including Jamie Foxx, Paul Giamatti, Dane DeHaan (“Chronicle”) and Chris Cooper.
Shailene Woodley (“Divergent”), who shot several scenes as Peter Parker’s future girlfriend Mary Jane Watson, won’t be seen in the sequel, but may pop up in the already-announced “Amazing Spider-Man 3,” although rumors have it that the actress will be replaced.
“The Amazing Spider-Man 2” opens May 2, 2014.
