Andy Reid Didn’t Seem Pleased To Speak With Sal Paolantonio Last Night

Two things of note here. First, through the first three weeks of the season, our Chiefs prediction is right on the money. And second, Andy Reid curved Sal Paolantonio to the left following last night’s game between the Chiefs and Eagles.

Reid’s much-ballyhooed return to the city and team he called home for 14 seasons was the obvious story line last night. His new team beat his old squad 26-16, forcing five turnovers in the process. After the game was the customary on-field interview in which Reid seemed none too pleased to see Sal. He obviously tries to avoid him, and eventually ends up acknowledging Paolantonio, but in very short, bland and annoyed answers.

I don’t know. Perhaps Reid isn’t so quick to relinquish grudges and still has a bad taste in his mouth about Sal in regards to his exit from Philly. Perhaps they never got along in the first place and he kept his cool all these years as a solidarity pact or something. Who knows. It’s Friday and I’m throwing sh*t against the wall to see if it sticks.
