So, what’d you achieve when you were 14? Well, no matter what it is, you suck, because Robert Nay grabbed the App Store by the shorties just recently, and he’s fourteen. So he’s simultaneously achieved a life objective, laid down the basis of his future career, and made everybody feel like an old loser all at once.
Nay’s game, which unseated “Angry Birds”, is a physics puzzler called “Bubble Ball”. And, yes, aside from his mom helping with a few of the puzzles, Nay did the entire game himself, code to graphics to overall release.
At least it’s just a free game so the kid hasn’t also raked in millions in the space of a few weeks. We’re pretty sure all those guys who won’t shut up about their stock portfolio would have killed themselves if a fourteen-year-old beat them to a million dollars.
So, dammit, Robert Nay, start charging.
