A ‘Wolfenstein: The Old Blood’ Easter Egg Details The Origin Of The Grammar Nazi

By all accounts, Wolfenstein: The Old Blood is a pretty good FPS in the tradition of the original game. Even our own GammaSquad Review thought the game was “worth a shot.” But like all video game titles good, bad, and mediocre, it wouldn’t be complete without at least a couple of Easter eggs.

One of the more prominent ones making its rounds across the Internet is the developers’ own revisionist historical take on the origin of the term “Grammar Nazi,” as seen in the above YouTube video.

Just in case you can’t decipher it all from the gameplay video, a Reddit user created an Imgur gallery for reference.

Now we wait for the inevitable complaints of inaccuracy on the part of the developers’ joke. Did they get their German right? The English translations for the subtitles? Would the context presented even occur in an historical sense? Stay tuned, as the Reddit comments will surely deliver.
