Jared Fogle’s Creepy Text Messages Revealed During His Appeal: ‘It’s What I Crave’

This commercial will forever haunt Fogle (and our nightmares).

“I’ll pay you big for a 14- or 15-year old.” That’s just one of the creepy admissions made by disgraced former Subway spokesman Jared Fogle in newly-released text messages exposed during recent court hearings. Fogle is appealing his 15.6-year prison sentence, which spurred prosecutors to reveal more information about the digital trail that led to his conviction for traveling to have sex with a minor and conspiracy to receive child pornography.

Fogle is going to have a much harder time claiming he’s been set up in creepy prison letters in light of these new text message transcripts, and — even though he’s taken on a “teacher’s pet” persona and his recent assailant has been moved to another prison — he may soon find himself with new enemies if other inmates hear about any of these texts.

According to The Wrap, prosecutors in Indiana revealed on Monday that Fogle had sex with two minors (16 and 17 years old) and asked for even younger victims in text messages with older escorts, promising large finder’s fees for procuring girls 16 or younger.

When an escort asked Fogle what finder’s fee he would offer, court documents reveal he replied, “Depends, on, if they can prove their age. If they can and you get me 16 or below, I’ll give you 400 at least.”

When an escort asked Fogle why he wanted her to find such a young girl, he replied with the exceedingly disturbing, “Cause it’s what I crave! … I would hook you up nicely if you did.”

The escort asked, “How much? Because I have a cousin who is 15.”

Fogle replied, “What does she look like? If she’s good-looking I would give you 300 and her the same.”

No amount of cake is going to settle our stomachs after reading that.

The prosecution is contending that the 15.6 year sentence is reasonable in light of the evidence, and they revealed the new details to support their case. Not only does it look like their case is a slam dunk, but it makes us wonder what other stomach-churning evidence we haven’t seen yet.
