When it comes to a lawsuit, Donald Trump is an expert. Or I should say, he’s allegedly an expert. He claims to want to sue a lot of folks, he has a history of bringing people into court for a variety of reasons, and he claims victory a lot in the media. This may or may not be true, but the bottom line is that the guy seems to like to keep his legal team busy. It comes up due to his recent promise to sue the women accusing him of sexual assault, making the promise part of his plan for the first 100 days in office.
According to The Daily Show’s report, Trump has a fine history with lawsuits and his promise to sue these women might actually happen. He’s quick to sue and there’s really no way to skate by it, earning him the title that he’s a “libel bully.” I mean he took Bill Maher to court and failed over one of the silliest reasons I’ve heard:
Donald Trump has voluntarily dismissed his $5 million lawsuit against Bill Maher for failing to live up to an “unconditional offer” made on NBC’s Tonight Show to donate $5 million to charity if Trump provided a copy of his birth certificate proving that he’s not “spawn of his mother having sex with orangutan.”
It’s ridiculous, but it hasn’t stopped Trump from hitting the courtroom — or his lawyers in his place. Also pretty easy to take on several lawsuits if you’re allegedly using charity money to fund them. All alleged and reported by other bodies, by the way. Please don’t take my dog and children from me.
