DeAndre Jordan Impersonates Steph Curry And Then Decides To Destroy The Rim With A Monster Dunk

What do you think of when you consider Steph Curry in relation DeAndre Jordan?

It’s pretty easy to differentiate the two. One is a center and the other is a point guard, for starters. One gets his numbers primarily in the paint, both as the recipient of a whole slew of lobs and as a tenacious rebounder and shot blocking demon. The other is only arguably the best shooter in the history of the game.

Oh and also, one is near automatic from the stripe. The other… not so much.

Anyway, now that Jordan has proven that he’s at least in the same galaxy as the Golden State Warriors’ superstar and defending league MVP, at least when it comes to performing a two-ball dribbling drill (see above), we can quit with the comparisons between the two and get back to what DeAndre does best: Shake the earth via the strength of his monstrous dunks.

In the third quarter of Saturday night’s Warriors-Clippers matchup at Staples Center, L.A.’s Chris Paul fed Jordan an alley-oop pass. Jordan proceeded to deposit the ball through the rim with such force, he bent the iron. Whoa.

It didn’t take long for the rim to be repaired, but man, that’s something fierce on the part of DeAndre. Steph may get so hot from long range that you think he might melt the iron but as of right now, bending it is one thing Jordan can do that the MVP positively cannot.
