Just when you think just about every variation on the zombie movie has already been done – high school zombies, zombie strippers, zombie rom-com, Nazi zombies – a new trailer hits proving just how obscure and niche people will go to try to find a new angle on zombies.
Thus we have Scouts Guide To The Zombie Apocalypse, from Paranormal Activity sequel writer Christopher Landon, which is a high school zombie movie set in the world of Boy Scouts. So, basically Zombieland, but with a MacGyver twist because they’re boy scouts. It stars Tye Sheridan from Mud, who’s also playing Cyclops in X-Men: Apocalypse. Aaaand that’s probably the only interesting thing about it.
I never thought I could be this apathetic about a naked stripper spraying blood on some boy scouts, but here we are. Opens October 30th.
