Have we come full-circle on April Fools’ Day yet? I’ll admit, April 1 got out of hand in recent years, but everybody was so cranky about it this year, I almost started to feel nostalgic. Anybody with me? No?
Anyways, the makers of Dying Light did April Fools’ right. They didn’t really prank anybody, though. They just made their game more fun by altering the game’s physics. Basically, they turned their zombies into undead beach balls that you can send soaring over the horizon with a well-placed dropkick.
Honestly, the fact that gamers will now have to go back to playing with regular physics is the real prank.
