Water is refreshing, necessary to our survival, and all-around superb. It’s also hard to tie to any sort of DLC promotion. But Dying Light has pulled it off.
All you have to do is post a photo of yourself drinking a glass of water on Twitter with the hashtag #DrinkRightDyingLight and you get a premium weapon code. And why, precisely, does Techland suddenly care so much about the hydration of gamers? This tweet says it all:

Yep, Destiny‘s Red Bull promotion is so unpopular, even rival developers are making fun of it. It’s quick turnaround, too; that promotion has literally been out there for less than a day.
Needless to say, things have gotten silly rather quickly, with stock photo parodies a particular favorite. Hey, people get goofy when free stuff is involved.
