A few weeks back, NetherRealm Studios announced a second DLC combat pack for Mortal Kombat X, featuring four new Kombatants — Texas Chainsaw Massacre‘s Leatherface, an Alien xenomorph, the drunken Bo Rai Cho and Tri-Borg, a character that combines classic robot fighters Cyrax, Sektor and Smoke. Well, those characters officially arrived to shed some blood yesterday (March 1).
NetherRealm and Warner Bros. Interactive have also announced Mortal Kombat XL, a new boxed version of Mortal Kombat X that includes all the DLC for $60. That’s quite the deal, considering each Kombat Pack cost $30 individually, and the latest one just came out. The early adopter gets the shaft again. You can check out a trailer for Mortal Kombat XL, which is available now, at the top of this post.
Want even more insane violence? Here’s all of Leatherface’s Fatalities.
Man, that Brutality where Leatherface just keeps hitting him with the hammer – it feels wrong to say it’s my favorite, but it’s my favorite. Here’s the Alien’s Fatalities.
I’ll admit, I haven’t played much Mortal Kombat X, but I might get on board with MK XL. It would be nice to have a fully-featured fighting game to play, y’know? I’m side-eyeing at you, Street Fighter V.
