The Release Date For EA’s ‘Need For Speed’ Reboot Has Been Leaked

Oops! Last week, EA dropped a teaser trailer for their Need for Speed reboot, which looked amazing but didn’t yet have a release date. Now, due to an error on the XBOX One store, the release date has been leaked. The game’s screeching onto your consoles and PCs on November 3rd, just in time for the holiday season.

The page with the release date has been pulled and replaced with an error page , but some eagle-eyed redditors caught it before it was taken down. You can see the screenshot here. Aside from the release date, some more details were leaked, like the fact that the game will have several overlapping stories and five different play modes.

Here’s everything we know about the game:

Apparently the reboot will feature “5 unique ways to play, Speed, Style, Build, Crew and Outlaw” and will be set in the fictional West Coast city of Ventura Bay with an emphasis on after-dark activities.

“Discover a nocturnal open world of urban car culture you never knew existed. Ventura Bay is your urban playground; from downtown, the harbour and the canyons, the city comes alive while you sleep.”

Let’s just hope it looks as good as it sounds.
