Yes, we’ve got one of the most anticipated games of the year, Fallout 4. In fact, we’ve had it for about a week now, so today’s GammaStream is going to be a little bit different. I’ve been playing the game for over twenty hours, and I’m currently level 23. So you’re going to get a look at what it’s like a bit later in the game, once you have your stats up and some toys to play with.
To avoid spoilers, I’ll be poking around the northeastern corner of the map, headed towards Salem and following up on a rumor about the Museum of Witchcraft. Despite the game being easier the more you stay to the north, this doesn’t mean I’m not going to die. Despite the fact that I’ve been hunting stat boosts and experience points like a fiend, this playthrough will probably show you just how hard it is; you’ll die a lot, especially if you get cocky and a bunch of enemies manage to corner you. On the other hand, I have a poisoned missile launcher, a radioactive sword, all my guns have reflex sights, and I’m willing to play dirty, so let’s visit a tourist trap, kill everyone in it, and take their stuff!
