Video game companies are always looking for new ways to nickel and dime you lately. Disc content you have to pay to unlock, used games not having online multiplayer out of the box, and we’re pretty sure they’ll start charging you per bullet fired pretty soon. But we’ve got to give Rocksteady credit for this one: an iPhone app for a map you can use separately from the game.
“Arkham City,” the game currently destroying productivity across the country, doesn’t have a minimap on the HUD. But if you’ve got an iPhone, you can buy a map! For three bucks!
We’re pretty sure that this wasn’t intentional. We’re also pretty sure it’s not going to stay that way.
