“Tell me, do you bleed? You will.”
Much like Batman, the Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice trailer will appear when you don’t expect it. Zack Snyder already released a teaser saying the trailer would be here on 4/20 (heh heh 420, bro), but this is the internet. We get everything early.
As for the trailer, we have a Portuguese-subtitled version. Watch it while it lasts. [UPDATE: Video replaced with official version] It turns out, the trailer starts out as mostly tracking shots, with Jesse Eisenberg and others in voiceover saying ominous things like, “We as a population on this planet have been looking for a savior” and “We’re talking about a being whose very existence challenges our own sense of priority in the universe.” That second statement sounded like it was voiced by Neil deGrasse Tyson. Also, it’s very clearly Eisenberg’s voice saying, “Devils don’t come from hell beneath us; they come from the sky.”
Then we hear a bunch of guys chanting “go home” and there’s a statue of Superman graffitied with “False God”. Let it never be said that Zack Snyder is subtle.
All of that is forgiven when we get to the part where Bruce and Clark have their staredown and Bruce asks him if he bleeds:
Also, is the graffiti here a bit of a Riddler shoutout?
Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice opens March 25th, 2016.
