Epic Thinks Piracy of "Bulletstorm" to Blame for Low PC Sales, Not Crappy Port

Bulletstorm was one of the best games of 2011, in our humble opinion, but it didn’t sell well, especially on the PC.

The reason, according to Epic Games’s Mike Capps?

“We made a PC version of Bulletstorm, and it didn’t do very well on PC and I think a lot of that was due to piracy. It wasn’t the best PC port ever, sure, but also piracy was a pretty big problem.”

The reason, according to everyone else? The PC port was a mess. When you have to decrypt a few files just to tweak the frame rate and the menus won’t even let you use a mouse, you might want to consider what message that sends to your customer. But go ahead! Keep blaming them!
