Robin Sachs, a noted character actor in video games and genre television shows, unexpectedly passed away February 1st. He was 61.
If you watched genre TV, or played video games, you probably knew Sachs’ work. He played Ethan Rayne on Buffy The Vampire Slayer, voiced Zaeed Massani in Mass Effect, and had roles on Babylon 5, Star Trek: Voyager, Galaxy Quest and innumerable other shows and movies.
Word of his passing comes from his official website, and unfortunately it seems that details are scarce at the moment. By all reports he was in good health and not suffering any medical problems.
Sachs contributed quite a bit to genre television, games, and movies in his career, and it’s unfortunate he left us before he could contribute more. We at Gamma Squad would like to take a moment to wish his family and friends our sincere condolences.
