Tomorrow marks the zombie slicing-and-dicing video game debut of The Walking Dead‘s Michonne. We’ve known for a while that The Walking Dead: Michonne will fill in the events between issues #126 – #139 when Michonne mysteriously left the main cast, and fill in some of the details of her tragic past, but the launch trailer for the first episode drops some more information. Here’s Telltale’s official description for the chapter, entitled In Too Deep…
“Michonne joins Pete and his crew on the sailing ship The Companion as they cruise the coast for survivors and supplies. When a desperate signal for help draws them to a scene of horrific massacre, Michonne and the crew are lead further to the floating survivors’ colony of Monroe, which may just be harboring the person responsible for the carnage.”
Hmmm, it doesn’t seem like Michonne so much joins Pete on his boat, as she is taken prisoner. Is Pete the series’ villain? The description hints that the person who caused the massacre is the real bad guy, but they don’t say whether this mysterious person caused the massacre on purpose. I have a feeling we have a few twists and turns ahead of us.
The next episode of The Walking Dead: Michonne arrives in April, and the final episodes is scheduled for May. Altogether, the three episodes cost $15.
