Mos Eisley might be the most wretched hive of scum and villainy on Tatooine, but Jabba the Hutt”s palace is right up there too. The Hutt and his lackeys live in hedonistic pleasure, inflicting pain on others for sport. But even with the torture and casual murder, no one is more repulsive than Jabba”s Kowakian monkey-lizard Salacious B. Crumb.

In STAR WARS #4, writer Jason Aaron shows even Darth Vader can”t handle Crumb”s inane laughter. The Sith Lord joins Jabba on a pleasure cruise to discuss business – both for the Emperor and of a cloak-and-dagger nature for Vader”s interests. But while the Hutt crime boss”s minions shoot banthas for the delight of their master, you can practically see Vader”s eye twitching at the monkey-lizard”s noxious laugh.
In the end, Vader says what we”ve all been thinking for years.
