Pack it in, Carol Corps. We”re gonna have to wait a little while longer to see the MCU version of Captain Marvel.
Nerdiest News received exclusive confirmation from an inside source that there are no plans for Carol Danvers to make an appearance in “The Avengers: Age of Ultron,” despite some recently released toy sets to the contrary.
One the one hand, this makes sense. “Captain Marvel” has been pushed back due to Spider-Man re-entering the Marvel fold. There are EIGHT films slated to be released by Marvel Studios before Carol Danvers takes center stage. Ant-Man, Doctor Strange, or Spider-Man are all better bets for the “Age of Ultron” stinger.
On the other, fan-crazed conspiracy theorist hand…saying there is no way Carol will be appearing in “Age of Ultron” is exactly what Marvel would say if she were going to appear.
Hmmmm.
