Charlie Sheen’s character will return to ‘Two and a Half Men’ without Charlie Sheen

Charlie Harper is coming back to CBS’ “Two and a Half Men,” but that doesn’t mean that Charlie Sheen and Chuck Lorre have made nice.
CBS announced on Monday (March 19) that Charlie Harper will return to “Two and a Half Men” on Monday, April 30 in spectral form.

If you do want to know the circumstances of Charlie’s return, CBS teases that Alan (Jon Cryer) will have a minor heart attack and that he’ll receive a visit from Charlie’s ghost at his hospital bed.
On one hand, Sheen — preparing “Anger Management” for a summer premiere on FX — can take some pleasure in Lorre hiring an Oscar-winning actor to play him. 
On the other hand, that Oscar winning actor is “Harry’s Law” star Kathy Bates.
Charlie Harper passed away in this season’s “Two and a Half Men” premiere under unfortunate circumstances, circumstances that were still less controversial than Sheen’s departure from the hit comedy last spring.
