Daniel Radcliffe has gone from being in negotiations to star in “Now You See Me 2,” to being officially cast in the movie. The upcoming film is a sequel to the 2013 magic heist comedy.
The Harry Potter actor, who can currently be see in “Horns,” will be joined by newcomers to the franchise Lizzy Caplan and Jay Chou. Members of the original ensemble Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Morgan Freeman, Woody Harrelson, Michael Caine and Dave Franco will all reprise their roles as well.

At this time we don't know much about who Radcliffe, Caplan, and Chou will play, but we do have their character names. They will be Walter, Lula, and Li, respectively.
The plot as a whole is somewhat less murky as the casting announcement including an official synopsis as well. That synopsis reads: “One year after outwitting the FBI and winning the public”s adulation with their mind-bending spectacles, the Four Horsemen resurface in 'Now You See Me 2' only to find themselves face to face with a new enemy who enlists them to pull off their most dangerous heist yet.”
