While his first movie hasn”t even come out yet, it sure looks like Doctor Strange has his next flick already lined up, and it”s gonna be a big one.
In an interview with Collider, The Avengers: Infinity War writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely sure seemed to indicate the character played by Benedict Cumberbatch will join that project.
While discussing the scheduling challenges of the Marvel movies, McFeely said, “The scheduling has got to be a nightmare. You can't just say 'Benedict Cumberbatch' – or whoever – 'come to Atlanta for nine months.' You know. It can't work that way.”
News of the good doctor potentially joining Infinity War comes just days after Markus and McFeely hinted that Rocket Raccoon would also be in the movie. The flick will be directed by Anthony Russo and Joe Russo, the directors of Captain America: Civil War and Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
Doctor Strange is slated to be in theaters in November. Avengers: Infinity War – Part I is scheduled for a 2018 release, with Infinity War – Part II coming out in 2019.
