Ever since The CW's “Arrow” started airing, fans have been waiting patiently to get a look at the series' take on Black Canary.
The DC Comics superheroine with the sonic scream has long played a key role in the Green Arrow mythos, and actress Katie Cassidy has starred as Laurel Lance since the beginning of the series.
Now it's finally time for her to suit up. The heroine will make her first appearance in the upcoming episode “Left Behind,” which will be this season's tenth installment.
There are no fishnets here, but there's lots of leather, a bunch of buckles, and locks of long blonde hair — plus a mask to protect her identity.

Cassidy is no stranger to The CW, having also appeared on “Supernatural,” “Melrose Place” and “Gossip Girl.”
