Comic acting legend Gene Wilder passed away earlier today at age 83 from complications from Alzheimers. The twice-Oscar nominated actor, who delivered all-time performances in movies like Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein and Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, is being remembered on Twitter by much of Hollywood royalty for his originality and the inspiration that he delivered to so many.
Among those honoring Wilder”s memory include Reese Witherspoon, Snoop Dogg, Jim Carrey and director Mel Brooks, who worked with Wilder on numerous occasions.
