Marvel unveiled the seismic shift coming to their universe this October with the release of their ALL-NEW ALL-DIFFERENT preview magazine, featuring a whopping forty-five brand-new titles launching this fall. Iconic favorites like Iron Man and Deadpool return no worse for wear, while Wolverine ages into Old Man Logan and Captain America looks ready for his inauguration into the Silver Fox Club™.
But the real story here is how many women are present! Twenty-seven of the covers revealed have women heavily represented – even in the handful of instances where they”re the only lady in the group. Out of those, eleven women headline their own series.
Tall women, short women, black women, brown women, white women, gay women, straight women, thick women, thin women, women with cancer, PREGNANT WOMEN. By giving ladies such a wide platform, Marvel is finally able to show women as a widely varying slice of humanity instead of a token XX chromosome character.
Check out who's getting (or keeping) their own series, but first…time to celebrate! Let”s put on some mood music!
#1: A-FORCE returns, featuring a cornucopia of lady superheroes.
#2: ANGELA: QUEEN OF HEL takes us deeper into Asgardian lore.

#10: SPIDER-WOMAN is about to pop but isn”t letting it slow her down (I am MOST excited about this!).
