I'm really looking forward to this Sunday's “Last Man on Earth,” which will be the first episode to air that wasn't send to critics before the premiere.
So I gave “Last Man on Earth” an enthusiastic A- grade based on the first three half-hours, but I've also been waiting for around a month to get the resolution to last week's cliffhanger introducing January Jones as another reminder of why the show wasn't called “Last Person on Earth.”
We still don't officially know the name of Jones' character, though Sunday (March 15) night's episode *is* titled “Sweet Melissa,” which suggests either that her character's name is Melissa or that she's a big Allman Brothers fan.
Regardless of her name, the introduction of a blonde bombshell into the tenuous Miller-Pilbasian marital union is sure to case some complications on Sunday and moving forward.
Me, I'm happy to see January Jones flexing comedic muscles that “Mad Men” hasn't always chosen to utilize, but which her Instagram followers have known about for years.
