PARK CITY, UTAH — Jason Mantzoukas co-starred in Sundance pic “Sleeping With Other People” with comedians and other comedic actors including improv partner Jason Sudeikis, “Community's” Alison Brie, “Parks & Recreation” cohort Adam Scott, Amanda Peet, and Andrea Savage.
From the sound of it, the work wasn't all that… worky. The sex/relationship comedy is about “figuring it out, and f*cking it up,” Mantzoukas said from the premiere's red carpet at Sundance. But he was floored by his scenes with Savage — who plays his wife in the film — and, overall, it was a low-maintenance cast.
However, there was a stipulation for Mantzoukas in this romp.
“I was not naked. They wouldn't let me.” Cue the sad trombones.
Watch our interview above, on why he thinks “Parks & Rec” is one of the “most delightful” shows to work on, how “The League” doesn't turn to shambles, what Billy Eichner is like when he's not Billy On The Street, and how nobody has a perfect relationship (“BOOM”).
“Sleeping With Other People” plays all week during the Sundance Film Festival.
