Katherine Heigl and Seth Rogen are totally okay now, seriously

Earlier this week, Seth Rogen told Howard Stern that while he was “hurt” by Katherine Heigl's negative comments about Knocked Up in a now-infamous 2008 Vanity Fair interview, he nevertheless felt badly that the controversy may have “hurt her career.” Said the actor: “I don't want that to have happened to her at all. Because I've said a thousand stupid things, and I really like her.”

Rogen spoke on the matter partially in response to Heigl's Stern Show appearance back in April, when the actress recounted a particularly uncomfortable encounter with Rogen and his creative partner Evan Goldberg at a restaurant years later. “I walked up, like, 'Hey guys! And it was him and Evan,” she told Stern at the time. “[I was] like, 'How are you all?'…and I was like, 'Oh, you're really mad.' I didn't realize that it was that bad.”

Now I think it's safe to put this tired matter to rest, finally, forever, as Heigl has subsequently responded to Rogen's response during a Television Critics' Association (TCA) panel for her upcoming CBS series Doubt. In summary: it's all good!

“I think he”s handled it so beautifully,” she told the assembled press corps when asked about Rogen's comments. “I feel nothing but love and respect. It was so long ago, and I just wish him so much goodness. I felt that from him, too.”
