Liam Hemsworth is having trouble committing to ‘Game of Thrones’

First off: I did not call Liam Hemsworth “Chris.” He only thought I called him “Chris” (as in Chris Hemsworth, brother of Liam) when I was actually introducing myself as “Chris,” because that's my name. But hey, it happens! We got past it.

Anyway, in the above video you can listen to the “Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2” star talking about his role in “Independence Day: Resurgence” and his pop culture/geek blind spot, which in his case is HBO's hugely-popular fantasy series “Game of Thrones.” Maybe you've heard of it?

“I haven't watched 'Game of Thrones,'” he said. “Look, I've been told to watch it for a few years now…[but] TV shows are such a commitment, you know? It's a lot of time, it's a lot of hours of watching TV. But I will do it.”

“The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2” hits theaters on November 20.
