SAN DIEGO – “Man of Steel” star Antje Traue says she normally doesn’t get recognized as the villainous Faora – but if she does, there’s one key physical attribute that usually gives her away.
“It’s more about my eyes,” the actress told me while promoting her upcoming supernatural action film “Seventh Son” at San Diego Comic-Con. “But they don’t really recognize me…I mean back in Germany, where I come from, not really. Here in the States is a little bit different.”
As for having her locks sheared off for the role, Traue claims that while she initially had a difficult time adjusting to the new hairdo, she’s since warmed to the look.
“Actually you know what, in the beginning when they cut my hair short, I was like: ‘oh god, my hair,” she said. “But now I think it actually does me a favor.”
