In what was definitely the most highly-anticipated “Carpool Karaoke” segment since Lin Manuel-Miranda hopped in the passenger seat, last night's episode of The Late Late Show with James Corden featured Michelle Obama as Corden's karaoke partner. The duo sang Stevie Wonder's “Signed, Sealed, Delivered, I'm Yours” – one of the First Lady's favorites – and Beyonce's “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)” before being joined by a surprise guest.
During their rendition of Diane Warren's “This Is For My Girls,” Missy Elliott suddenly appeared and, of course, the trio eventually launched into “Get Ur Freak On” – a song that's especially appropriate considering the lyric “Copywritten / So don't copy me.”
