Despite The CW putting out some of the greatest and most original hourlong series – Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Jane the Virgin, a growing roster of superhero programs – it's been hard to watch most of them in a timely fashion. They exist on Hulu, but sparingly, and Netflix usually waits about a year to put them on its platform. But, per a press release from Netflix, they've reached a deal where each CW show will be available to stream just eight days after the season finale.
This deal not only includes CW's current programming like Arrow and The Flash but upcoming new shows like Riverdale (based on the Archie comics), Frequency, and No Tomorrow. The new exclusivity deal will also likely have an impact on Hulu – Hulu's deal will soon expire, leaving Netflix the only streaming competitor to watch CW programs.
