Six years after the last installment of Chronicles of Narnia, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, the franchise is finally being revived with an adaptation of the fourth book. According to Entertainment Weekly, TriStar Pictures announced that The Silver Chair will be adapted into a feature film.
David Magee (Life of Pi) will write the screenplay. A director has yet to be announced and it's also unknown if the original cast – which includes Will Poulter and Liam Neeson – will return, though TriStar says the aim is to generate a “fresh approach” to the popular series.
