The CW just gave 11 of its shows early renewals for the 2016-2017 season.
Your superhero fare is set for another season: The Flash, DC”s Legends of Tomorrow, and Arrow will all live to fight another day. Fellow comic book-based series iZombie also got renewed.
Jane the Virgin and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend – which have both earned its stars Golden Globe Awards – got renewals as well. So did The Vampire Diaries, The Originals, Reign, and The 100.
The network also confirmed it”s giving a 12th season to Supernatural, the much fan-beloved (and fan-obsessed) show about two brothers hunting ghosts, demons, and all manner of beasties. This makes Supernatural the longest-running series in The CW (and WB) history. 7th Heaven, which lasted 11 seasons, previously held that honor.
Which CW shows have uncertain futures? None, really. The network renewed all their currently airing series. Beauty and the Beast returns this summer for what we already knew is its fourth and final season.
Update 4:43 p.m. ET: A previous version of this post incorrectly stated that Reign's season 3 premiere is next month. In fact, it's the mid-season 3 premiere that's on April 25.
