“The Real World” is set to return to Chicago
The MTV reality show, which filmed in Chicago in 2001, is requesting zoning permits for a “seven-bed, temporary, group living residence.”

“Literally, not a single rumor about casting that has been printed anywhere has any truth to it whatsoever,” says Nic Pizzolatto, who has written the first two episodes of Season 2. He did confirm there will be four main characters, with a strong female lead. “But I wouldn”t say it is female-led or anything like that,” he says. Pizzolatto also points out he”s “essentially creating a brand new TV show” each season, a job so “exhausting” that he may give up after three years.
